Reports are an important part of Web 2.0 websites. Reports:
- organize data for the user
- present the user with lists of data tailor-made to their requests
- provide a technique to export data into Excel spreadsheets
Editor for Jetfire Report Builder Web Part
Edit Properties of the Web Part
The edit properties for the Web Part include:
- Workflow Configuration File - the workflow configuration file describes the report parameters for displaying the report. This includes:
- Display Names for headers
- Order of the Fields that are displayed in the table
- The filter to use to get displayed records
- Controls to use to display the data
- Widths of the data displayed
- Sort Option - how the records are sorted
- Save Folder - a temporary file is saved to the Save Folder before the data is displayed
- Show Date Created - a flag that if true, includes the Created Date and Time that the report was created.
- Css Header - The css style to use for header row in the table.
- Css Table - the css style to use for the table.
- Css Row - the css style to use for rows in the table.
- Alternating Css Row - the css style to use for alternating rows in the table.
- Style Sheet - the style sheet to use that defines the styles. This is required for the exported files.
